2009 Projects
The following project were accomplished April 25, 2009. A sincere thank you to everyone who participated in these worthwhile efforts.
Our Father's Table Soup Kitchen - serves approximately 60 meals 5 days a week. Run by volunteers.
Project: Deep cleaning, minor repairs, painting, and stocking shelves with donations.
Harvest Food & Outreach Center - Provides deeply discounted groceries and supplies to the needy in our community.
Project: Deep clean, paint (inside and outside), sort and stock shelves, etc.
Life Recovery Center - is a developing facility to help provide a transition to those who are committed to breaking free of homelessness and addiction.
Project: Cleaning, sorting, organizing, painting, minor repair, etc.
Homeless Family Center - provides Emergency and Transitional Shelter for Homeless Families from Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, and Okeechobee Counties.
Project: pressure washing, yard clean up, plant butterfly garden
Wheel Chair Ramp - built at a private residence for someone that is otherwise homebound.
Blood Drive
Blood - the donation that doesn't empty your bank account. Ever thought of something you can do for others that doesn't involve weeds, paint brushes, or rakes? Give blood!
